Simracing Photography Piano

I am a third-year Software Engineering student at Victoria University of Wellington, and Casual Mobile Developer at PaperKite.

In my free time, I like to develop applications, keep up with current trends, and learn new languages - I am currently learning Kotlin, as Android development becomes increasingly Kotlin-first.

At university, I have achieved all A+ grades throughout the courses I have taken so far, and I was also the top ranked student in SWEN221 (T1 2021), ENGR110 (T2 2020), and ENGR101 (T1 2020).

During the trimester break, I worked as a freelance programmer, working for people from all over the world. I've worked on some really fun projects, including Android apps, like a 3rd party app store for an internet TV provider, Java applications, and Python scripts.

iRacing Profile

The first time I played Colin Mcrae 2.0 as a little kid, I was hooked. That passion for simracing has only increased since then. Today, I play iRacing with my VR setup:

In 2021, I placed 3rd in a Red Bull competition at Victoria University of Wellington. Some of my highlights playing iRacing include racing against Brendon Hartley, Rubens Barrichello, and Carlos Sainz Jr.

Photography

I love taking photos, and I used to be a freelance graphic designer, so I use my Photoshop skills to make the photos from my phone look better!

Piano

I've played the piano since I was 4, and have learned a wide variety of music from Baroque to Modern music.

My favourite piano piece that I've played is Miroirs: III. Une barque sur l'océan, by Maurice Ravel.

When looking for sheet music for pop music online, I often find that the sheet music doesn't accurately reflect the original piece, so with my piano skills and perfect pitch, I sometimes transcribe my favourite music.
